The photographer is actually holding this snake in his left hand at
the base of the head and placing the head into the frame of the macro lens while taking
the photo with his right hand. The snake conveniently wrapped its tail over its head
creating a shadow which hides the hand. As sea snakes are
highly venemous, this is not recommended for everyone, (although as the fangs of sea
snakes are very short, even if attacked, the snake cannot penetrate a 5 mm wet suit.) |
